Lament: I really like to walk, but hate those uncool tan lines at my ankles. Is there anything out there that is comfortable to wear yet doesn’t require I wear socks?
Fix: You will love Golfstream sandals. Your feet will love Golfstream sandals. For starters these sturdy, functional sandals don’t even look like golf shoes. Wear them and you’ll get the “look” then the question:” Are those golf shoes?” Then, “Where can I get them?” You assure them they are indeed golf shoes. Rubber-molded soles give you serious traction while the fit is easily adjusted with Velcro closures. If you like to walk, these sandals have enough support and molded fit to make that trip around 18 holes very comfortable. Golfstream comes in several styles and colors. The spikeless models have wide leather straps; the soft spike version has a tad narrower straps like the black leather faux snakeskin and the Glitter Beige & Crystal Rose sandals made with Pulsar by Softspikes. Tuscany Faux Silver Crocodile features a hybrid outsole so it goes anywhere—only you will know you’re still wearing your golf shoes. The only issues I find are a rather weird tan on the top of my foot showing the strap lines (but easily ignored) and getting into the sand may require a shake out before moving to the next hole. But hey, no ugly ankle tan lines. www.golfstreamshoes.com
