James Driscoll entered last week’s inaugural Nashville Golf Open standing at a distant No. 144 on the money list. Driscoll captured his second career Web.com Tour title by three shots over Brian Campbell. He was sporting his Real Deal Brazil Original Tarp hat, to help battle the hot Tennessee summer heat throughout the week. Driscoll earned his way to No. 17 on the money list and he is now well positioned to earn back status on TOUR.
James Driscoll moved from 144th to 17th in the rankings of the Web.com tour with his Nashville Open win last weekend. Driscoll stood out from the crowd on the Leaderboard and on the course with his, completely unique, Real Deal Brazil Original Tarp hat.
Greenville, NC – June 22, 2016 – The Web.com tour embarked on music city last weekend for the Inaugural Nashville Golf Open. James Driscoll laid claim on the tournament win, finishing 19-under after a total of four rounds. Protecting his Mohawk, and making him easy to spot outside the Leaderboard, was Driscoll’s Real Deal Brazil Original Tarp Hat.
“Last week I was amazed at how well I was able to manage my emotions / nerves and quiet my mind. I wouldn’t say I was particularly sharp with my ball striking but my short game was great and my ability to save those crucial shots during each round was clutch” Driscoll turned pro in 2001 and has since played in 240 events for the PGA tour and 93 for the web.com tour. “Golf is a constant lesson in humility. It’s also a constant challenge to maintain confidence when things don’t go as planned. I’m fascinated by the balance of the two. The people I look up to seem to have a great balance of the two and it’s something I think golf is helping me to work toward.”
